Similarly, the episode "Kachin Kachin Light" was canceled because the 1979 version depicted Shizuka's nude body and nipples in "a more stimulating way than usual". This indicates that even during the peak of the franchise's popularity in the 20th century, the content was being scrutinized, and standards of self-regulation were being debated.
