Ensure you held the button down long enough. A quick press usually exits a menu, but a hard reset often requires holding the button for 15 seconds or more. Also, ensure the DVR is fully powered on (not in standby) when you press it.
Turn on your Longse DVR and look at the system date displayed on the screen (Format: YYYYMMDD).
Once you regain access, check the user account settings menu. Export a password reset key to a USB flash drive and store it safely.
