Amy Christine Dumas (born April 14, 1975) is an American retired professional wrestler and singer. She is best known for her time in WWE under the ring name Lita. Born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, she spent her childhood in Florida and near Atlanta, Georgia, eventually majoring in education at Georgia State University before dropping out in 1993. Dumas began her wrestling career in Mexico with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) in 1998, followed by a stint in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW).
