Many BootROMs (especially on Hisilicon Hi37xx and Amlogic S905 series) support XMODEM transfer of a temporary bootloader.
If the handshake succeeds and the error disappears, your device may still fail to boot. This is often because the main bootloader in the flash memory is corrupted.
