Acer | Sound Drivers
A sound driver, often referred to as an audio driver, is a specialized piece of software that acts as the translator between your computer’s operating system (like Windows 10 or 11) and its audio hardware. Without a properly installed and functioning driver, your Acer laptop won't know how to communicate with its internal speakers or headphone jack, leaving you with a silent device. These drivers are pre-installed on new devices, and under normal circumstances, users shouldn't need to adjust them.
