During installation, EndeavourOS (often abbreviated as "EOS") offers to install its bootloader to the EFI system partition (ESP). If users select the incorrect option, the existing Windows EFI entries may be overwritten. After a BIOS update or UEFI settings reset, the system may fail to recognize any bootable operating system.
