From a purely technical standpoint, Niresh installations are a nightmare to maintain. Because the system is so heavily modified, diagnosing a problem or updating to a newer version of macOS (e.g., from Big Sur to Monterey) becomes exponentially difficult. A standard "vanilla" installation involves a clean, unmodified macOS system and a separate, precisely configured bootloader.
