Dass055 Hot 'link' -
Many versions of the DASS055 come in a package with an exposed pad that should be soldered to a PCB ground plane for heatsinking. However, cheaper clone modules omit proper thermal vias. Without a thermal path, the chip’s junction temperature can reach 110–125°C under a 3A continuous load.
